| ON THE BOULEVARD |
4-9-2010 |
|
On April 15th, IZOD IndyCar Series is presenting a rare opportunity…come one, come all, to a FREE public Camp Freddy show. Hollywood Boulevard (from Orange to Highland) will be shut down to promote the IZOD IndyCar Series and the Grand Prix of Long Beach. There will be Formula Drift exhibitions, IZOD IndyCar pit stop challenges, vintage cars from the 100 years of IndyCar racing, life-size Hot Wheels cars, the Hot Wheels IndyCar simulator and Formula Drift cars. IndyCar is the fastest racing in the world, with cars reaching sustained speeds of 220mph+...at that rate, the cars travel the length of a football field every second, while generating g-forces equivalent to a space shuttle launch. A perfect match for the Camp Freddy style of rock n roll! The insanity starts at 6pm all along the Boulevard with Camp Freddy performing later at the Hollywood & Highland Central Courtyard.
