Camp Freddy will be playing live in Los Angeles on March 14th at a benefit show at The Knitting Factory. The concert will benefit The Teen Project Inc., which is a non-profit corporation committed to providing housing and a college education to the 25,000 homeless foster youth in California. Linda Perry and The Section Quartet will also be performing, and Camp Freddy will be joined onstage, as usual, by a few friends. Tickets are $35 and are available from the Knitting Factory box office or from www.knittingfactory.com.

Camp Freddy made an appearance at this years Sundance Film Festival in Park City, UT. The band played a small eight song set at the exclusive party at The Village At The Yard and were joined onstage by Billy Duffy, Scott Ian, Cisco Adler and Nuno Bettencourt. By the last song in the set, audience members were joining the band onstage and taking their clothes off, despite outside temperatures of minus 8 degrees!!

Camp Freddy appeared at the Declare Yourself event in Beverly Hills this week and performed three songs that were recorded by producer, Mike Clink. The band was fronted by Chester Bennington of Linkin Park and featured The Cult bassist Chris Wyse and Janes Addiction drummer Stephen Perkins, alongside founders Billy Morrison and Dave Navarro.Declare Yourself is the national nonpartisan, nonprofit voter initiative aimed at registering America's 18-year-olds to vote in the 2008 primaries and general election. The unforgettable night was hosted by Declare Yourself founder Norman Lear with popular television star Hayden Panettiere (“Heroes”). Camp Freddy's version of the Alice Cooper classic, 'I'm 18' will be available for streaming on the Declare Yourself website, and hopefully the bands MySpace site very soon.

Los Angeles band, Camp Freddy, played for over an hour last night at the annual ESPN/X-Games party at the House Of Blues. This was the third year in a row that Camp Freddy have celebrated the X-Games at the H.O.B. and last night the band added new songs and new guests to the set, including Scott Ian (Anthrax), Vivian Campbell (Def Leppard) and Shooter Jennings. Camp Freddy will be playing at the X-Games/ESPN Party at the House Of Blues on Friday August 3rd. The band have been a fixture at the event for the last couple of years, and 2007 will bring them back for a third year in a row. The event is a private, invite-only show.
