 Camp Freddy performed last night at the annual MAP/Musicares Awards show and were joined onstage by Steven Tyler, Chester Bennington, Slash, Billy Duffy, Jerry Cantrell, Wayne Kramer, Duff McKagan and Robin Zander. The event was honoring Slash and Alice Cooper for their services to the Charity, and Camp Freddy performed five songs - Surrender (Cheap Trick), Gonna Raise Hell (Cheap Trick), I'm Eighteen (Alice Cooper), Mama Kin (Aerosmith) and Whole Lotta Love (Led Zeppelin).

| ROXY RESIDENCY OPENS WITH A BANG! |

 Camp Freddy kicked off their month long series of shows at The Roxy in Los Angeles with a heavyweight line up that included members of The Sex Pistols, Motorhead and Alice In Chains. Each week, the band will perform a different set list with different guests at the venue. For more details of the first weeks setlist and guests, see the EVENTS page of this site. Tickets for the next four shows (every Thursday in May) are available at TICKETMASTER and THE ROXY websites.

| WIN AN OPENING SLOT WITH CAMP FREDDY |

 So it seems we have a bit of a competition happening here in Los Angeles! As previously reported, Camp Freddy are playing five shows at the world famous Roxy Theater here in LA during the month of May. Every Thursday to be precise. And we have decided to run a competition for local bands to get the opening slot. The Roxy are hosting the competition on their site, and the details are as follows: Send all submissions to RoxyContest@mac.com. You MUST include: three songs, 2 YouTube videos, a MySpace page or a website, a mini-bio and a photo. A radius clause will be in place so the bands performing cannot have anything booked for 30 days within a 30 mile radius. Bands must be available to play any of the five Thursdays in May. | MAYHEM AT THE ROXY |

 Camp Freddy have confirmed that they will be appearing at The Roxy in Los Angeles every Thursday night in May for their first residency. The dates are 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th May and the band promise a different set and different guests each week. The core band (Billy Morrison, Dave Navarro, Matt Sorum, Chris Chaney and Donovan Leitch) will play a full set and will be joined onstage by a different friend or two each week. The Darling Stilettos will open the evening. Tickets will be on sale from the box office April 1st and will be $20.
